Quite subtle on the nose. Starting with the elegance of the Borderies, then followed by the intensity of "Champagne" eaux-de-vies. Long aftertaste, rounded and fruity on the palate (with notes of fig and walnut) followed by the characteristic power and finesse of eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne.
